Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hey Everyone!

I'm going to bug you for two reasons; First, to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving! Don't stuff yourselves too much and have fun with all that precious family time!

Second, I wanted to give our faithful customers a friendly heads-up on up-coming activities at the library. So here's the scoop: Whether we like it or not, after Thursday, Christmas is coming! And everyone is cordially invited to the following, very merry and sure-to-be-sweet events:

On Tuesday, December 1st we're having a Miche Purse Party!! A perfect Christmas present for the women in your life, come check them out for free. We start at 6:30pm.

On Thursday, December 3rd we're having a Christmas Card-making class!! It will run from 6:00 to 8:30pm, please RSVP in advance (our phone number is 989-981-6106), if you don't RSVP there may not be enough supplies. We'll be making 12 cards each for $15 a person. Please bring tape and scissors if you have them, because sadly we have limited supplies.

On Thursday, December 10th we're having a Cookie Exchange!! It will run from 6:00 to 8:00pm. We ask you to bring three dozen cookies to trade, along with the recipe to give out and share. Or if you don't have time to bake in this busy season, come and enjoy the merry company.

On Saturday, December 12th we're having our annual Christmas Party!! We'll also have some special guests come in for a book signing!! So come see Rick Cunningham, Mary Jane Kooiman, and Santa Clause himself at 1:00pm. I will be posting more details on this in the next couple days, so stay posted!

So now that you have the inside scoop, mark your calenders and tell your friends! I look forward to seeing you soon! Happy Tuesday, and have a very Merry Thanksgiving!
Signed,
Your Friendly Neighborhood Library Spokes-Person
